I know I have said it before...but there is something about this girl...
I dont know how to put it into words other then...she has a heart and mind like no other. She is kind in a way that a 10 year old should not know. She sees the little things in life and enjoys them...a warm cookie, a reflection on the lake, making us amazing fruit plates just because...
Yesterday morning she was set to go for a bike ride with "the boys" (daddy & trev). Before departure this note (word for word and spelling) was found at Trevors door...
Dear Trevor,
I would like to just remind you that I'm coming on the bike ride and that I will be succsessfull! By the way Please don't do these things:
- Go way Too Fast!
- Don't ever say that I can't
- Wait for me (if you can please!) ***yes this was noted under dont do these things...hehe***
Well Thanks!
Sinci ***crossed out***
yours Truly,
Haley ***in handwriting*** xoxo
The parts inside of stars I noted. Is this too cute for words or what? hehe. We just adore this girl...

thirteen. [and 10 days overdue]
thirteen? WHAT?
We are talking pounds here people. That would be the weight of the baby miss! WOWZERS! I believe someone is going to follow in the footsteps of their big bro...super eater...
Thursday [the 7th, hence the 10 days overdue note in the title] Isla received her first round of shots (my poor baby), and she did amazing. A good scream and then a cuddle and snooze. Such a trooper.
Smiles are a constant now. We are fortunate to have such an amazing smiley baby. She is currently sleeping through most nights (OH YAH)! It is quite the gift to get a full nights sleep at 9 weeks. We are very proud of the little lady...and I do trust that she is not just teasing us and it will continue!

its bruce...
Buke is Bruce! Yes I know how excited you all are to know that. Ha.
We were watching "Shark Tale" this afternoon and as a shark came to the screen...Si yelled out..."its Bruce"! Soooo...where did Bruce come from? NEMO!!! I am so excited that we have figured this out. I do not know why Bruce the Shark has entered our home life...but for the time being, he is here!

where's buke?
Have you seen him? Cause I am trying hard to find him...hehe...
Okay, I know you must be wondering what I am talking about. Well, I believe our son may have let his imagination run a little wild. A few nights back he had a tough night and since he will not sleep with his door closed...and woke up looking for Buke. At first I thought he was telling me that he had to puke, yes lovely I know...but that is what I thought he was saying. Once we established that was not the case, we tried all morning to figure out what he was saying...
At this point we have settled on Buke. Simon will say things such as "Buke is coming over", "where Buke go", "Buke right there" (and point at a door etc). Its a little freaky actually! ha. We dont talk about Buke unless Si brings him up, but I sure would love to know what is going on in that mind. Who knows, maybe he is just messing around with us. Kids are smart yah know!
I will take some snaps of him today...we have been so busy with the move and family in town that I have not been behind the camera much.
Off to locate Buke...
